As the global wave of electric mobility sweeps across Europe, Germany, as a core market for new energy vehicles, is driving industry upgrades with stringent standards and strong demand. Recently, WellSmove reached a milestone – 500 electric mobility scooters customized for its German partner have completed all testing procedures and are about to depart for Germany via dedicated logistics channels, bringing efficient and safe new mobility options to local consumers.

This bulk order stems from a deep consensus between both parties regarding the needs of the German market. According to the eKFV regulations implemented by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), all small electric vehicles used in public areas must pass strict type certification, a standard that has become a core criterion for distributors when selecting partner brands. The WellSmove vehicles delivered this time not only fully passed ABE certification but also met the German StVZO regulations in 12 core tests, including braking performance, battery safety, and electromagnetic compatibility. The certification codes are clearly marked on the vehicle’s nameplate, ensuring that each vehicle can successfully complete the local registration process.

To meet the high demands of German consumers for mobility quality, these customized models have undergone detailed optimizations. In terms of range, it is equipped with a high-density lithium battery pack, providing up to 80 kilometers of range in urban conditions, fully meeting the daily commuting needs of major cities like Berlin and Munich. For safety features, it features a dual-channel ABS anti-lock braking system and automatic parking function, combined with an anti-slip floor design, effectively improving driving stability on slippery roads. Particularly noteworthy is the vehicle’s lighting system, which is certified by the German StVZO. The LED headlights, bearing the K-mark, automatically adjust their brightness according to ambient light, catering to Germany’s often rainy climate.

“We chose WellSmove because of its deep understanding of the European market,” said the head of the German dealership responsible for this procurement. During the initial investigation, WellSmove’s modular production system and scenario-based design philosophy impressed the team. Beyond simply delivering a product, the WellSmove team adjusted the vehicle’s shock absorption system parameters, optimized the ergonomic design of the seats, and even adapted a German-language intelligent control system for the vehicle, supporting remote battery level checks and fault diagnosis via an app, perfectly meeting German consumers’ dual demands for technological sophistication and practicality.

Currently, 500 vehicles have completed final quality inspection at the WellSmove production base, with each undergoing 72 hours of continuous operation testing and a detailed re-inspection of its appearance. To ensure safe transportation, the vehicles will be packaged with custom protective packaging and, through cooperation with local European logistics companies, will be directly delivered to the dealer’s warehousing center in North Rhine-Westphalia after customs clearance at the Port of Hamburg. Subsequently, WellSmove will also collaborate with local service teams to provide specialized support such as battery maintenance and parts replacement, building a complete service chain from delivery to after-sales service.

The delivery of this batch of orders is not only an important step for WellSmove in deepening its presence in the European market, but also confirms its development philosophy of “compliance-based and demand-driven.” With the penetration rate of new energy vehicles in the German market about to exceed 30%, electric mobility scooters are becoming the mainstream choice for short-distance urban travel.
